Why TeamViewer is so unreliable?

This morning it worked, an hour later it stopped working. Teamviewer seems to be very unreliable. Why is that. Is it still in Beta? The best info recommends to restart the remote location. But I am not at the remote location you see, otherwise I would not need Teamviewer to acces that computer, duh. So it stops working and you have no access whatsoever? That is ok for a free service, but not for a paid service.
