Annotation greyed out in Teamviewer desktop

I wish to use the Teamviewer whiteboard function when connecting to another device through remote support (quicksupport app), however this is greyed out and unavailable? How do I enable this or is this a feature of the commercial version? I am using a Windows desktop to connect to an Android device with all permissions enabled (everything works fine except for the above).
How can I enable annotation?
