TV client offering 11 digit ID but my TV accepts only 10 digits - no connection

I am trying to access a remote Asus laptop using TV. TV client is running on Windows 11 with latest updates of OS and TV. From my side I am using TV on my iMac running latest macOS 13.2 and also latest TV offered by the app. TV client I want to connect offers an 11 digit TV ID, but my TV accepts only 10 digits, 11th is just not accepted. Hence, it does not connect, since ID does not match.

Is this known phenomenon and what am I doing wrong?

In other words: help, what should I do?

Many thanks!

Dario

    Hi @GrouchoMarx,

Thank you for contacting us and welcome to our Community.

A TeamViewer ID is, generally 9 or 10 digits long. If the remote side gives you an 11-digit ID, we are probably talking about an IP address.

In this case, you should deactivate the Incoming LAN connections option in the settings. To do so please follow the steps:

For more detailed information please read this article:

Please let us know the result and if you need further assistance.

    Have a nice day,
