Hi Guys

I have a number of remote computers that were setup as TeamViewer Full in error. I want to change these so they are running my custom host module instead.

I was hoping this is something that can be done remotely as the physical locations of the remote computers are dotted around the country. All the computers are running Windows POSReady7.

Any help would be much appreciated

Any solution on this?, I also have more than 70 devices setup with the TeamViewer Full and just need the Host version.

I would love it if you can let me know how to do this change remotely.

Same issue as here. We were using an image but one engineer wasn't familiar with host so installed full TV instead. Due to security issues RDP is disabled even though devices are on the domain (not necessarily at the same site)

Bump (apologies if this against the rules). I'd imagine a lot of admins aren't on the remote sites. If an engineer installs full version and sends you the credentials you cannot change to host remotely.

Thanks for bringing attention to this topic.

Please know that it is possible to uninstall TeamViewer Remote to install TeamViewer Host remotely; however, it isn't possible to do it unattended - someone must be on the other side to accept the connection via TeamViewer QuickSupport.

Step-by-step:

Remote connect to the device that has TeamViewer Remote and uninstall it as you would do to any other software. You will lose the remote connection once the full client is uninstalled.
Send your partner a QuickSupport link.
Once the partner accepts the connection via QuickSupport, use the in-session toolbar Extras & Files (1) to Install Host (2).
