Hi.

I have been successfully using the free version of TeamViewer on my MacBook Air for the last 5 years. EXTREMELY useful in helping my 92 year old mum. All of a sudden, TeamViewer app won't load - the icon wiggles, and then stops.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Any help gratefully accepted.

Agreed. Per the tech support person, there was an issue with my "IOS email" being blocked. He wasn't more precise, but he worked VERY hard to get it fixed. It's worth working with Sales to get your trial up and running. It uses the same version of TeamViewer as the free version. Once you're up and running, you can decide if you want to keep the free version or upgrade.

I'm now working 100% and my 92 year old mum who lives thousands of miles away, and I are both thrilled that I can now help her with any issues.

Hang in there. It's worth it.

I've had the same thing happen within the past few days. I posted the same question elsewhere in the forum. I also tried to talk to a support person over chat, but when she discovered I'm using the free version, she hung up on me.

[removed per Community Guidelines] I don't know if the system did it automatically because it contained links, or if an admin did it deliberately because I was directing you to other products.

Either way, this contributes to my dissatisfaction with Teamviewer.

Alternatively, sign up for a trial 7 day commercial license (no up front payment required). And get TeamViewer working and assess for the 7 days and decide if you prefer Commercial or the free version.

Two hours later with support, I'm up and running. For some reason, my Mac O/S email was being blocked by TeamViewer. Spoke to an excellent senior tech - worked hard with me to get it all working as it should.

It is a great utility!

I just tried to, but I had to request a download and they're going to get back to me.

Really, this is just horrible. Someone from support should have responded to your message or mine, if only to say, "We're aware and we're working on it." If they don't want to be in the free software business, they should just discontinue the personal subscription.

It is a good utility, but I don't need 99% of what it does, and I certainly can't justify [removed per Community Guidelines]/year just to help out a friend occasionally.

May I ask what was blocking your email?

Can you believe the admin deleted what I said about the price of Teamviewer? It's their product, and the prices are right there on the website!

I am growing increasingly disenchanted with these people.
