Hi Community,
I am facing the issue to installing team viewer in my intel
evo laptop [removed per Community Guidelines] Windows 10. But the installation
hangs on this step "Copy to C:\Program Files
(x86)\TeamViewer\tvinfo.ini" and after a lot of time I receive the
following error from TeamViewer setup and the setup rolls back:
Here are a few steps that I have tried to resolve the issue:
Close the installation window and try running the installer again as an administrator. Right-click on the installer file and select "Run as administrator". This will give the installation process the necessary permissions to complete the installation.
Make sure that your antivirus software is not interfering with the installation process. You can try temporarily disabling your antivirus software and then re-running the installation to see if that resolves the issue.
Try installing the software to a different location on your computer. Instead of installing it to the default location, try creating a new folder and installing it there.
Check if there are any permissions issues with the destination folder. Right-click on the "Program Files (x86)" folder and select "Properties". In the "Security" tab, make sure that your user account has full control over the folder.
