Who is inviting whom?

I want to be able to see my mum's computer from mine - sure it's a daft question but to do so is she inviting me and I put her password into mine or the other way around please?

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the TeamViewer community! A daft question it is not; we are more than happy to help!

If you wish to see your mother's computer, she would provide you with her TeamViewer ID and password. You would enter the TeamViewer ID, and when prompted enter the password displayed in TeamViewer on her device.
