Hello,
A customer of mine is asking me to set up a policy on their network so that only approved IP-Addresses can connect to Teamviewer on their devices, but I'm a little stuck on that. The problem is that a cliënt first connects to the Teamviewer servers and then to the IP-address from the other side.
My first thought was to block TCP80/443/5938 to *.teamviewer.com on the firewall and only allow it for example from our IP-Address, but that doesn't work because the cliënt first needs to connect to the Teamviewer servers. I can't also block teamviewer.exe in GPO because we do need Teamviewer for certain IP-addresses.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only 1 with this problem, how do others solve this?
