What installation option do I choose?

I downloaded TeamViewer Remote, free trial, desktop client for Windows, 64-bit Full Client. I got a 60 MB installer file named: TeamViewer_Setup_x64.exe.

When I ran the installer, I got this dialog:

I want to be able to access my old Win 10 laptop remotely from my new Win 11 laptop so I can (a) see how things worked on it, (b) see where things were located, and (c) get copies of things I might have forgotten.

No one will be here, so I want to leave the old laptop running unattanded.

Do I select option 2 on the old laptop and option 1 on the new one?

    Hi @CynMoore ,

    Thanks for your question!

It's also possible to set up unattended access in the TeamViewer Remote if you already have it installed.

You can proceed with the basic installation, then you log in with your account ➜ click on the Home icon at the left menu ➜ select Set up remote access and follow the instruction on the screen

The device will show up in your Devices list:
