Input from my keyboard to remote pc has suddenly stopped working.

My pc & remote pc both running:

TV Version: 12.0.81460
OS: Win_10.0.15063.540 (64-bit)

I can view remote desktop & see cursor blinking on remote pc & mouse functions like normal… But, anything I type on my keyboard is not registered on the remote pc.

I have full access/permissions.
Tried uninstalling/re-installing TV12 on both my pc & remote pc.
Tried suggestions listed here, [https://superuser.com/questions/709160/teamviewer-keyboard-input-not-working], but still not working.

I have the same issue. Anyone have a fix?

I did 2 things about the same time as it stopped working. 1. I downloaded and added the teamviewer app to my android. I had previously been using windows devices only. 2. I tried to activate the 'show black screen' option. I checked it, and a box popped up that said 'requested function could not be performed.. disable remote input needs to be active, would you like to activate it?". I clicked ACTIVATE. The black screen option was not working, so I immediately unchecked both options again. After that, the input did not work. I rebooted the computer and it started working again. Then the next time I logged in, it does not work. I have uninstalled TV on both of the computers and reinstalled them.

The input from the app on my phone still works and the mouse is working on the remote computer, but not the keyboard. I tried switching computers to see if it was just that one and they are both doing the same thing.
