My concern is how effective or how secure when it comes to dealing with secure data as most of your screen and access can by used by the person to whom you have provided access.
Can we share sensitive details like passwords, app information, or any other such data that be dangerous while sharing with someone?
Hi @henryrichards1990,
Thank you for raising this important topic.
When giving access to your device, the person will see your screen and control it (if this is enabled). However, they cannot access any sensitive details in the background. For example, if they open any app during the connection, you'll see it - if you are of course in front of the device during the connection.
In general, we strongly recommend all users not share their ID and password with a person they do not trust.
Also, with TeamViewer, you can restrict access to your computer in different ways. Depending on how you want to restrict access and to what extent, you can choose one of the options explained in this article: 📄 Restrict access for connections
