Team Viewer not working at all on remote Mac Book

Hi everyone

Although connected to my remote Mac Book, I cannot do anything but to visualize the lock screen. Neither mouse or keyboard have any action on the remote lock screen. I cannot even type the password of the lock screen. Does actually work Team Viewer on MAC or not? Do I have to make any specific settings on my Mac Book? So far, the app is useless.
