I have two PC's in my home office. One is personal, the other is my work laptop. I've been using the free version of TeamViewer for some time to connect from my personal PC to my work laptop. I created a session that has worked well for a year or two.
Yesterday I had to replace my laptop. We used the exact same model and just moved my HDD into it. Finished all the setup and got it joined to the domain without issue. I took it home and when I went to connect to it from my home PC, instead of showing the LAN IP in the target (work laptop) session, it showed a number. No problem, I entered the number into TV on my home PC and connected just fine.
This morning I got to connect to the numerical session in on my home PC and it keeps asking me for a password. I'm not sure what I did wrong but obviously it's not working. I'm trying to find info on how to recreate that same session I created a year or two back (don't remember) so that I just had to click on "connect" on my home PC and it connected me immediately to my work laptop.
So some help would be good. A link, a quick "how-to" guide etc.
TIA
