I just set up team viewer on a device that is in my home so I can remote to it at college. One of the requirements I need is to be able to turn it on an off remotely which wake on lan is perfect for.
I went though the steps to set everything up from the team viewer page, and remoting into it works, but I am having issues with the wake on lan feature.
Here is the problem:
WOL works sometimes but it seems to be spotty at best. Sometimes it lets me turn it on and off repeatedly, but eventually it just hits a point where after I’ve shut down the pc and try to hit the wake up button, nothing happens. When I manually turn the pc back on it starts working again, but then it just hits this point again.
does anyone know what this behavior is from?
