Not able to update

Hello,

On one PC i'm using TeamViewer Version 12.0.81460
I got the notification that there is an update to version 12.0.81460.

However when I try to update I receive the following error:

  • Was having this issue on a Win10 Pro x64 workstation-- trying to upgrade from TV 12.x to 13.x  The log file showed similar results to the above.

    1. Uninstalled TV v12.x on PC, being careful to leave the settings file

    2. Used web browser console to reinstall TV v13.x - now working fine.

Unfortunately, this is not a good solution in production because support tech must talk the client through the process (blind - unless client has a video chat app. available).

Don't know if TV supports scripted uninstall (leaving settings) and reinstall, meaning it can be done silently w/o client intervention.
