Digitally signed invoices for enhanced security
Dear TeamViewer customers,
Your security is our top priority. In line with that, we’re implementing a more secure way of invoicing.
From early January 2025, all invoices issued by TeamViewer will be digitally signed using a secure digital certificate for the Nordic region, which includes Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway, Greenland, and Sweden.
Why?
Digital certificates will enable you to verify the authenticity of our invoices, making it easier to identify any fraudulent attempts.
What actions do I need to take?
Please ensure you have compatible software installed to confirm the signature's authenticity. The certificate authority ensures compatibility with Adobe products, along with SHA-2 Signing and 2048-bit encryption for security and browser compliance.
Note: Please be aware that some PDF readers may not fully support digital certificate signatures or might require additional plugins.
