Cannot Install Universal add-on for Remote Control

Android TV.
Installed Quick Support.
Downloaded and Installed Universal Add-on apk onto the Android TV.

Enabled the Accessibility in System Settings.
Attempted to Install add-on in Quick Support Remote Control feature. Get message "Item not found. Try again".

Where is Quick Support looking for the add-on? Do I need to move the add-on to somewhere specific on the TV's storage?

Help appreciated.

You may download the add-on for QuickSupport from Universal add-on for Android. At the same time, can you double-check if your Android TV manufacturer is supported on the list of Supported manufacturers for remotely controlling Android devices. As it could affect the actual effect of the remote connection.

As I said in my post, I have already downloaded and installed Universal add-on for Android onto the TV. My TV brand is not specifically supported. However, QuickSupport does not recognise that it is installed, and cannot locate the add-on that I installed - just get "Tray again" message.
