i cant set the unattended acces option on my Teamviewer Host app on my smartphone android. How can i remove the confirm to start the connection without touch the confirm button on the screen?
Same issue. After my S25 Ultra was updated to Android 16 (One UI 8), it can no longer auto accept a remote connection using the Host app. I get a prompt on the Phone saying "Share your screen with Host?".
There is no way that I know off to make this option permanent.
?
I have the same issue in our organisation. What I know is that it has to do with the newest Android firmware and I hope that TV it will fix it, because this is almost impossible to use with kiosk devices on Android devices!
I think I have the same problem.
I got for my mum the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with One UI Version 7.0 and Android 15.
I installed on it the TeamViewer Host app today from the google play store and also the Teamviewer Universal Add-On.
I am able to find the phone in Windows 10 Teamviewer account in the new content list. I try to connect to the phone, in teamviewer it says it will start, but on the phone there comes the message, that says: "Start recording or casting with Host?".
Only when I push "Start now" on the phone, it works, but this is not an unattened access.
I just found an old/new entry:
tatankasaOct 24, 2020Updated Mar 17, 2025 by Ying_Q
there it says:
grant TeamViewer the PROJECT_MEDIA permission.
but it looks that is only working when you have to root your mobile phone. I try to change the settings for the usb development, but the button were not able to change the settings., I assume that it is as the device is not rooted.
Please have a look into it.
Thank you,
Alex
