I need to re-generate my TeamViewer ID because it expired. Can someone help me?
Hi @OndrejPlaysGDBackups ,
Thank you for your clarification 😊
When you open Quick Support on a mobile phone, it may take a few seconds for the ID to appear under "Your ID". Just to confirm—after waiting a few seconds, is the ID still not being generated (in the pink frame in the image below)?
💡Could you please check that your network connection is stable and secure? An unstable connection might be causing the issue with the ID not generating properly.
You can also check your TeamViewer Device ID by clicking the settings icon in the top right corner, then scrolling down to the bottom under the "ABOUT" menu. There should be a menu "TeamViewer ID". Could you please check if the ID is visible there?
If you’re still unable to locate your TeamViewer ID, would you mind taking a screenshot of what you see when you open the Quick Support app?
Looking forward to hearing from you soon 😊
Chisa
I meant the ID that you need to regenerate your TeamViewer ID for TeamViewer Quick support Mobile.
Hi @OndrejPlaysGDBackups,
Happy to see your first post in our community! 😊
To help you further, could you please let us know the following:
Usually, the TeamViewer ID is the one needed to start a remote session. Â You can find it under Your ID on any TeamViewer module. The image below is from the TeamViewer Full Client, and the TeamViewer ID is located in the section highlighted in orange. This ID typically stays the same and doesn't expire.
2. Which TeamViewer module is currently running on your device?
For example: TeamViewer Full Client (PC version), TeamViewer Remote Control, TeamViewer Host, or TeamViewer Quick Support.
