Unattended access stopped working

Hello, I use TeamViewer to help my aging parents use their laptop. We had to replace their laptop and unattended access stopped working. We can connect using a session id.

Can anyone guide me to resolve this? TeamViewer Host does not present a "Manage this device" option. Perhaps I should remove TeamViewer Host then download/install/configure it again?

Try uninstalling TeamViewer Host, then reinstall it fresh. During setup, make sure to assign the device to your account and turn on unattended access. That usually fixes the problem.

Could you please let us know which operation system is running on your new laptop? You can also find the list of supported OS versions here: Supported operating systems for TeamViewer

2. Please ensure that the installed Host version is up to date.

Once both conditions are confirmed, please restart the Host module and check if you can see the “Manage this device” button as shown below:

If the issue persists, could you kindly share a screenshot of what you're seeing in the Host module? Let us know if any error message appears as well.
