I'm setting up a Doro Easy tablet for an elderly relative, including TeamViewer so I can support him if needed from my MacBook Air laptop.
TeamViewer comes pre-installed on the Doro tablet, and Doro support can access it from their end - we've tested that, so seemingly no problem with the tablet setup.
At my end, I've done TV website > enter partner ID from tablet > download permanent TV version > install TV app > open app > Home > Connect via ID to remotely access: enter partner ID > Connect - but then get error messages:
ERROR Unable to connect - Either your partner isn't connected to the internet or your partner's TeamViewer isn't running yet. [Pls check partner connection/start TeamViewer.]
> Both of these done, then tried again entering partner ID - this time:
ERROR Version out-of-date: Update TeamViewer - Older version of TeamViewer detected. Pls make sure both devices in this session are running latest version of TeamViewer.
> 'Learn more' button then says Reason unknown.
But Doro tablet version seems fine as Doro support can connect to it. And I've only just downloaded to laptop, so surely that would be most up-to-date version?
I've also tried doing same from iPhone but got to similar error messages.
I'd be very grateful for any Community advice - many thanks in hope.
