I cant seem to find directions to log into a remote PC that I use with TV and need to eliminate password access
Hi @R_Willis1,
Thanks for your comment. I saw that you raised the same question in another post, and I’ve replied to it there. Feel free to check it out!
Thank you and have a good day 😊 Chisa
I have the same question. I have been through all of the steps in this link and I'm still stuck. I'm using free version, so I downloaded the host on both devices. Logged into my account on both devices. I got it connected once, but it still keeps asking for a password. On the device I want to access, the "grant easy access" is not available (it's greyed out). Is that option not possible with the free account?
Hi @timothyejones_1,
Welcome to the TeamViewer Community☺️
It sounds like you're looking to set up unattended access, so you can connect to a remote device without entering a password each time.
Here are the step-by-step instructions:
Firstly, please make sure both your local (the one you'll use to initiate the connection) and remote devices (the endpoint) run a supported OS: Supported operating systems for TeamViewer
Then, on your local device, install the TeamViewer Full Client and create a TeamViewer account.
On your remote device, follow the steps to set up unattended access and start an unattended session:Provide unattended remote support
*You can install either the Full Client or Host module on your remote device.
If you need help with a specific step, feel free to share the OS of both devices and where you're stuck—we’re happy to assist😊
Hope this helps!
Chisa
