how to access the host in the free version

hi. I downloaded the Teamviewer app on my phone and the Teamviewer program on my computer (free version as this is for perso use). I am trying to access my computer with my phone, but everytime i enter the Teamviewer id, it also asks me to provide a password that is created on the computer TV program.

That does not work with my needs, as i need to be able to access the computer from anywhere without having someone in front of my computer who can give me the password.

basically i am trying to access my computer when i am on vacation. the computer will be on on my desk,but nobody will be able to give me the password.

Am i missing something i did not set up properly ? or does this program not allow you to access the computer unless somebody allows you to get access ?

Unattended access is possible with the free version of TeamViewer, but please make sure that your devices meet the compatibility requirements.

Could you please let us know the operating systems of both your local device (your phone) and the endpoint device (your PC)?
You can find more details about supported OS here: Supported operating systems for TeamViewer

Once you've confirmed compatibility

1. Install TeamViewer Remote Control on your phone and create a TeamViewer account.
2. Install TeamViewer Host on your PC. You can download it from here (Choose the right one according to your OS), and complete the initial setup by following this (here, you "manage" your device): Provide unattended remote support
3. Follow the steps outlined here to establish the connection from your phone to your PC:

How to connect from Android devices (If your device is an iOS device, please go to the "Devices" tab after logging in and locate your managed device under "My Managed Devices" and press the connect button to initiate a connection.)
