Windows logon option not working

Hi,

I have been trying to use windows logon option to access to the servers but it keeps giving me authentication failed.

I am sure that the password is correct. Please advise

If the access control is changed to custom setting, the error message will be "authentication failed"

I am using policy to control this server.

So you said this is a server, is it on a domain?

If the device is part of a domain, the username must read DOMAIN\username then password in order to be recognised by windows as both peices of information are required.
