Remote Control of Samsung A54 from Samsung S22 ULTRA

My 90-year-old father doesn't know how to use a smartphone.So i'm trying to remote in to his samsung phone in Texas from my phone in LouisianLouisiana. I used to be able to do this when he had a samsung s nine plus but when I replaced his phone with the samsung A54 i'm no longer able to remotely access his phone without intervention.He doesn't really know how to push buttons or do anything to help me get connected.What can I do?
