Trusted Devices & 2FA

So, one of my biggest frustrations with TV is that every time I log into something TV related, I have to do the whole Trusted Devices email.

Does turning on 2FA replace that OR would that mean having to do 2FA AND the Trusted Device email every time I login to something?

According to our knowledge base article "If you are using Two-Factor Authentication, then the Trusted Devices authorization email won’t be required anymore when you sign in to your account on a new device." So yes, 2FA can be used as an alternative option.
