unattended access stopped working

on ubuntu 22.04.5, which I have performed no updates on for more than one year, suddenly now teamviewer's unattended access is broken….. if i try to access remotely, I see the dreaded "_____ would like to view and control your desktop" dialog on the machine… meaning I cannot access it remotely anymore without user input on the machine

i was running an old teamviewer host… i have now updated to the most recent teamviewer host and the problem persists

i have "grant easy access" checked in Security

password strength "disabled"

access control "full access"

i just tried switching back to the "new interface" and now it seems to work.. this problem seems to happen now if you use the "old interface" to access machines…. i will switch to the "new interface" … problem with the "new interface" is that the device search is terrible, there is no way I have found to do a simple search for names of devices that leads to a persistent list, only some kind of autocomplete which is hard to use
