Trouble Transferring Large Files on TeamViewer

Hey everyone,

I’ve been using TeamViewer for remote access and file sharing, but lately I’ve been running into a problem whenever I try to transfer large files — for example, something big like GTA San Andreas. The connection keeps dropping halfway through, and the transfer fails every time. Smaller files go through without any issues.

My internet connection seems stable, and I’ve already tried tweaking the transfer settings, but it didn't make much of a difference.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there a particular setting or trick that helps keep large file transfers stable?

Thank you for all the details you have shared about your internet connection, it has an important impact while transferring files.

Since this is a large file, it is surely not as fast as transferring smaller ones.

Could you try reinstalling TeamViewer? This might help resolving the connection dropping issue.

Please follow the steps written in our Knowledge Base articles to do so:

1- Uninstall TeamViewer

2- Install TeamViewer
