Hi,
I just installed Teamviewer on my Debian 13 KDE system and can't establish a connection.
I can accept the connection request on the client, but after a few seconds I get something like "The server did not answer in time. Please try again later."
The command "teamviewer info" outputs:
grep: /opt/teamviewer/config/global.conf: no access
(unable to read the Teamviewer ID)
Access is possible when I manually change the file permissions to 644, but every time I restart the teamviewer daemon the file global.conf for some reason gets set back to the 600 permission.
(I disabled the firewall for testing and used ChatGPT for half an hour but nothing works.)
Maybe the problem is something else?
Any ideas?
