Teamviewer Quicksupport on RDS Session Host server

Until now we used QuickSupport for users to allow temporary access to their session in the Remote Desktop Server (Session Host)

It seems lately it's no longer working. This ID displays for the user but when I connnect, it's stuck on "Connecting…" and doesn't go any further.

Is this a known issue or limitation ?

I do not want to setup the Host because we cannot allow 24/7 access to the servers, only temporary access when needed. Or is there a way to do it with the Host ?

Connection issues can be caused by many different reasons.
By the description you provided, it could be related to IPv6 instability, but if not, we would need more information in order to assist.

Regarding Host, yes, it's possible to install the Host and configure it to accept connections only with confirmation.
This can be configured manually or via policy (via policy requires a license).

For manual configuration, once the Host is installed:

1. Click the gear icon to open the settings.
2. Open the advanced settings.
3. On advanced settings for connections to this computer, set the access control to Confirm all.
4. Click OK to save.

📌Suggestion: You can also set up an allow list, so only your account can access that Host (regardless of attended or unattended connection).
