TeamViewer not loading in Linux today

Hello, I'm just wondering if anyone else using an Ubuntu based Linux distro, has had their fully installed 64bit TeamViewer installation stop working after recent updates?

I have two computers (one desktop, one laptop) running Zorin OS 18m Pro (Ubuntu 24.04) and since yesterday, they have both stopped loading TeamViewer.

It was set to load automatically at system startup and has been doing so for many months without problems. However, now it won't load at all.

I have tried fully uninstalling and re-installing, with no change.

If I try to run it from the terminal, it shows the attached error message.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem, and if so, does anyone know of a fix?

OK, I managed to fix it myself.

Looks like the ~/config/teamviewer/client.conf file got corrupted by an update.

I deleted it and after doing that and restarting, the GUI now loads.

However, then next problem I found was not being able to enable the 'Start TeamViewer with system' option, but I managed to get that working by enabling the 'Disable TeamViewer shutdown' option.

So I hope this helps anyone else that comes across this problem too.
