Google Authenticator access

Hi Team,

I installed teamviewer host on my android phone, but when I connect to it from my computer and go to Google Authenticator, everything is black. It is not possible for me to see any codes on it. The same thing is happening with all authenticator applications. Is this some privacy thing? Can this be allowed in settings? Or maybe it is happening because I am on a free plan?

What you’re describing is expected behavior. Authenticator apps, banking apps, password managers, and similar tools might appear black during a remote session for security reasons. This privacy protection is built into the app and is not related to TeamViewer.

Therefore, we cannot provide any workaround for this.

It could help to check with the provider of your authentication app. They can provide you with more information or let you know whether a workaround is available.
