could you please tell us, when your paid SW will use modern technology? your latest version of the app requires qt5-webengine as a dependency. this essentially means compiling this package, that i believe uses chromium source. simple install action wont complete in one work day - it is still not finished compiling after my whole workday… that **bleep**.
my suggestion: either start doing something…! QT6 is here with us already 5 years and it's closer to release QT7 than the release date of QT6…
OR
bundle your linux installers with precompiled dependencies included to the package…
OR
make possible use of flatpak - you can have your ancient dependency packages in there…
