Hi, Just the title says. Is there a way to smart group the devices enrolled? We've been manually putting them on their folder. I'm using teamviewer classic 15.70.6 C.
Hey! Yes, TeamViewer does support Smart Groups but it depends on your license. In TeamViewer Classic, you can use Conditional Access / Groups via the Management Console (login.teamviewer.com). However, auto/smart grouping based on device attributes is mainly available in TeamViewer Tensor (enterprise plan).
On your current version (15.70.6), the best workaround is using automated deployment scripts that assign devices to specific groups on enrollment.
What license tier are you on? That'll help narrow down your options! đ
Hi @Geoponics,
Welcome to the TeamViewer Community, and thank you for your question!
To better understand your scenario, could you share a bit more about what you mean by âsmart groupâ in the context of your use case? Knowing the specific functionality youâre looking for will help us provide a more accurate and helpful answer for your use case.
Weâd also like to mention that the latest TeamViewer Remote interface offers a broader and more modern set of deviceâmanagement features. Depending on what youâre trying to achieve, considering a migration to the new UI might be beneficial. If youâd like guidance on this, weâre happy to help as well. đ
We look forward to hearing from you soon. Best, Chisa
