Unable to connect from macOS to Windows 11 – connection stuck and authentication timeout

I'm attempting to connect to a remote Windows 11 computer from MacOS. Both are using the latest versions of TeamViewer, and I see the remote is showing online, but status bar shows connecting until, presumably the connection times out.

There are no messages, on my end, and nothing on the remote end.

Interestingly, see the following in the logs:
