I have two Windows 11 virtual machines.
One was cloned from the other before TeamViewer was installed.
They have different Windows computer names but the same Windows MachineGuid, and consequently the same TeamViewer ID.
I confirmed the identical MachineGuid and verified that uninstalling and reinstalling TeamViewer does not generate a new ID.
According to Team Viewer's documentation, Windows clones with duplicate IDs require a registry fix, which Team Viewer provides only to people with paid licenses. I use Team Viewer solely for private convenience, not in connection with anything commercial, so I use the free version. Does anyone have the registry file for one of the cloned machines? Thanks.
