We have got some older machines with Win XP and Teamviewer 4 (Host Application) in the field. I have one of the old machines connected in our LAN and tried to connect via Teamviewer 12 Desktop App. The machine with TV4 has internet access and also gets a ID and a password from the Teamviewer Server. When I try to connect with it, the desktop app allways states that the TV on the machine is not running or the connection is not there (which both is ok when i check on the machine itself.
Is it possible that Version 4 is no longer supported ? Or is it simply because the machines are in the same LAN ?
I have tried with TV 9 (Host App on other machine). There is no problem with connecting in a LAN.
I would appreciate if someone has an explanation for this behaviour and a solution.
