2 factor authentication: how to add another phone

I've activated two-factor authentication with my TeamViewer account. Now I have a second smartphone on which I installed the same authenticator app (MS authenticator). How can I add my TeamViewer account to that second smartphone's authenticator app? Do I have to deactivate two-factor authentication and then reactivate it?

TeamViewer tech support told me that you have to deactivate and then reactivate 2FA to do that.
