Unable to run TV13 without display manager, even when using tar archive

I'm not using a display manager, I run startx directly.

According to this thread, Teamviewer should be able to run without display manager if I download and use the tar archive, but unfortunately the GUI still doesn't start.

$ ./teamviewer

    Just for the sake of keeping all our ducks in a row … I started a thread about this a few weeks ago.

    I believe this fellow was also looking for this functionality. There may be a few others spread out here in the forums … and who knows how many "in the wild." No word from TV that I've seen, but hopefully it is on a 'to do' list somewhere.

    Same problem here.

    TV13, TV14... doesn't work, no missing libraries with checklibs.

    I am using Lightdm and i already tried enough...

    I need TV which just works on ANY Linux, Windows, Mac around me without ANY aditional work. It is simple, i will not buy new version (or pay subscription) until this will be simple, solved and just working again.

    Sorry for short answer, but my more detailed was lost and i don't have time write it again.
