Hi
I have always logged into my home PC from mobile (Galaxy S5) but now message says "Teamviewer not running on partner PC"
I get home and TV is running on my PC (Windows 8.1) and showing my other partner PC's which are online or off
TIA
Hi Scotty
Yes the computer would have been asleep but that is the same as previous when I connected easily.
I go into my management console which tells me my PC is offline when it obviously isnt and TV is running in the task bar :-(
All other connections are fine and performing correctly.
I think I will delete my PC from my "computers" and reconfigure
Cheers
The only other thing it could be is that your TeamViewer ID changed.
This would mean the ID under the properties of the device in your contacts list would be different than displayed in the software.
But just note if the computer is properly asleep, there is no way to connect with TeamViewer without WOL. The application would have been suspended and the Internet connection turned off.

Hi Sshaker2
Was the computer asleep?
We often have it where the device will be asleep and so offline, but when you get home, you shake the mouse to check and see TeamViewer is online. Of course, you just woke it up.
Not that the software cannot connect when the computer is asleep as the device disconnects from the Internet and the application is suspended.
Yes I did discover the ID's didnt match up so deleted them and reconfigured
Thanks for your help :-)
Scotty,
I'm having the same type issue. For some reason several of my PC's have gone dark in the last few days for no reason. If, as you say the ID might have changed, what would cause that and how do I prevent it in the future?
Thank you
