Can I record a session on another's computer remotely or do they need to be the one to record the session since it is on their computer? Thanks!

You can record a TeamViewer session on your side as long as you connect to a computer (it doesn't work with mobile connections).
You have two options for activating it:
1. Activate it directly in the TeamViewer options under "extras - options - remote control". The option is called "Start recording of remote control sessions automatically" - after activating this option, the record will automatically start when you connect to a machine.
2. Activate it in the TeamViewer taskbar during the connection. For this you have to establish the connection first and you can see the record button in the taskbar (at the top of the connection) on the right side, next to the Feedback-Smiley.
