Lost connection after Windows + R then "regedit"

Hi. I'm loosing connection after pressing Windows + R and typing "regedit" + enter. The other person says that it shows a window to insert a password, but her (windows) user password doesn't work, so I don't know what password that might be. The weird thing is: TeamViewer says that I lost connection when I hit enter then, after one minute +/-, it comes back. I tried with other remote control software and it happened the same, so I don't know if this is an issue of the software type or something else.

This sounds like a UAC issue. You can bypass this if you know the administator username and password. Before launching the connection click on the cog for the properties and at the bottom there should be action setting and under this there is an authentication mode <select Windows> enter administrator user name and password and this should let you run regedit.
