I was hacked by teamviewer

I have 2 teams in my house connected to teamviewer, but today I realize that all my bank accounts and my BTC platforms were stolen by an intruder who joined my teams through TeamViewer.

2 hours hard connection and in that I steal all my money.

When looking at the record of activities on the platform, it becomes clear that while I am sleeping, someone enters my PC from a device that is not associated with my account without the need of any verification or authorization.
It should be noted that I have never assigned income to any device that is not associated with my account.

Hello,

My Free Teamviewer was hacked too on June 9th. Unfortunately, I uninstalled Teamviewer out of panic. Is there a way to retrieve the ID that was connected to my computer. They did some serious charges not only to my account but many other accounts on amazon and I need to prove that I was not the one who did this.

My account was compromized this morning, good thing I was next to my PC when I saw mouse moving and somone going through my GMAIL, I immediately pulled the plug. they searched for "Deposit", "Withdrawal" and "BTC". I looked at the TeamViewer Logs and there was a connection stablished around the time I pulled plug. I use the free version to remote my PC from outside my home, but I don't think I will be using TeamViewer anymore after today, Unless someone tells me otherwise on how secure it is.

Dear Support Team! I need some serious help! Today, I "accidently" clicked on my Team Viewer and as it started to open, I quickly hit the X in the top corner the moment it appeared. Just a split second after that, this window popped up from my "user/chris" file...

I'm an IT pro, but obviously I am handicapped with a singular language experience.

I found this to be completely out of the norm though, I have a feeling this is a "hack" to allow someone the rights to see whatever it is I am seeing, and to "Peno Trate" (not sure why you guys think that's a dirty word and BLOCKED it when I spelled it correctly, perhaps it's YOUR minds that need the "**bleep**" pui in there) the security of probably my computer, and any other system I remote into.

On top of that please read this reply to get even more information. Let me cite from this reply:

"We strongly recommend that affected victims contact their bank, a consumer protection organization and a trustworthy IT support company. In most cases, the payments that have been made can be refunded by the bank, and any malicious software installed by the callers can be removed by the IT support company. We can also determine and block the TeamViewer ID used by the scammers if we are provided with the victim's ID.

To ensure that it is safe to use your computer again (for example, for online banking), we recommend having it checked by a local IT support company or a person you can trust."

Also please make sure to change the TeamViewer password for incoming connections both for the random password and your password for unattended access.

How to change for the random password:

If you would like to change the random password manually you can hover with the mouse over the password field and a circle-arrow appears. Click the arrow and choose Create new random password

How to change your password for unattended access:

The personal password is a password defined by you. If you enter a password, you will be able to use that password anytime in place of the randomly generated temporary password to access this computer (unattended access).

Under Extras --> Options --> Security--> Under Personal password (for unattended access) --> Password --> Type in your password --> Confirm password Repeat your chosen password to confirm it --> click OK

The password you are choosing will never be visible to you or anybody else. Instead of the password you will see black dots.

You can remove the password by deleting the black dots.
