Lenovo e7 and Oreo - can see but not control?

Hi

I thought Lenovo devices were supported by TeamViewer. I got a Lenovo E8 and I can see and control the device. But on my Lenovo e7 which is runing android 8.1, I can’t seem to control the tablet. I can see the screen but not control. Am I missing something?

Have you resolved the problem? I want to buy a tablet that I can remotely manage for my elderly mum and was looking at the Lenovo E7 but it's no good if TeamViewer won't work.
