Two corporate accounts need access to one device

Hello,

We have a client that has our TeamViewer corporate license installed on their devices. We use it regularly.

Our client has another supplier who needs access to a device and they also have a Corporate TeamViewer account. Is there a way for us to grant their corporate account access to a specific device or a group?

Way back when we used to have **Third Party Product** (The "L word"... ugggh) we were able to grant access to groups and/or specific systems to other **Third Party Product** accounts.

We know we can create a user for them with a different address and allow them to get into it that way but that is going to be really tedious for them.

Thank you for your post.

Any licensed users can connect to a licensed device as long as:

1. They have been provided the correct ID/Password combination
2. Their TeamViewer account/ID is added to any necessary whitelists

If the other user should only connect to the device when someone is in front of the device, they need only the ID - whenever they connect, they will be asked to enter the Random Password for spontanious access displayed in the TeamViewer application.

In this event, you do not need to share anything with the other user aside from the ID - they can create their own contact in their Computers & Contacts device so they do not need to remember the exact ID - any time they connect they will need the new displayed password (which changes after each session or when TeamViewer is closed completely). 

Hint: If there are multiple devices (I.e an entire group) the user should need to connect to, simply share the entire group with no passwords saved in the device properties. The user will be able to request connections to any device allowed in the group, but will be prompted to enter the new password every time

If you have a device you have set up so you may access it when unattended, but another licensed user also needs to make similar connections to the same device, you can simply set up additional Personal Passwords for unattended access in the Security settings of TeamViewer:

In this case, you can determine the password other users can use to access your own devices. Provide the other user the TeamViewer ID and the new Personal Password for unattended access you have set for them to the device.

Hint: To prevent the other user from altering or adding new passwords for Unattended Access, you can Password-protect the TeamViewer options to prevent access.
