We renewed our license today but we are still on the Free version. How can we proceed to 'activate' the renew license ?

Usually the license renewal will not affect your usage as your license activation has been completely beforehand. Can you kindly try to login the licensed account on TeamViewer and check your license type on Help -> About TeamViewer on TeamViewer client please.
