Check for newer version does nothing

Currently using a corporate account. License are up to date. User is having issues with not being able to upgrade their teamviewer version. User signs into teamviewer and is getting the message that they are in a trial version. Verified they are licensed correctly in the admin console but they still cannot connect to other computers they have access to via teamviewer. 

Here is what we have done so far;

1. Uninstall/reinstall, with settings removed and without settings removed

2. Clear regedit of all Teamviewer software folders

3. Check for newer version and nothing happens. Nothing appears in the system tray or in task manager as maybe something "pending"

Added a support ticket but I figured might as well post here just in case someone found a solution.
