trying to remote into my home PC and use an xbox one controller on my non-homePC to play games

So I'm interested in remoting into my at home PC from work, and using an xbox one controller on my device at work to play games on my remote PC at home via the xbox one streaming utility. The problem I'm having is the device I'm remoting into at home isn't recognizing the xbox one controller on my device at work. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Instead of using TeamViewer, Remote Desktop into your home PC. When using rpd to connect, you can choose to use all of your plug and okay devices on the remote PC. Good luck
