No Credentials - can't browse to teamviewer.com

HI
I use teamveiwer to connect to my fathers PC. Worked fine up until recently.
Now his PC will not generate the credentials needed to connect.
We removed Teamveiwer, with the intention of re-installing the latest version.
We could not even connect to to teamvier.com. The PC threw an error moaning about a tls error?
any ideas?
