Hello, I was using my computer and teamview window suddently showed up. I found someone (ID: RNRW-BBJ3O1) was connecting my computer. He might find I was also using computer and then ended after a few seconds. Below is from the logfile, 1) can some tell me what did he do to my computer? 2) where the connector come from? 3) there are a few IP addresses [removed per Community Guidelines] frequently connecting to my computer, right?

I found team viewer in my big reports back in 2018. Been trying to stop it ever since. But these guys are devoted in making me look bad so they can get away with whatever they all did. I called Team Viewer and they pretty much hung up on me. From all I've seen, anyone using it, all they're doing is discredit me to people and and trying to shift blame of something onto another and village every cyber right one has! If you figure out something, let me know. But, remember, they can control your while computer and phone!

    Hi @QtrPt ,

Thank you for posting in this thread and bringing back @cbi ´s post.

We are sorry to read that you are concerned about someone connecting to your computers.

First, we can assure you, that TeamViewer Germany GmbH is not associated with, or responsible for, any of these instances and TeamViewer is secure to use.

Second, to help you out in the best way possible, we recommend that users who have been the victim of criminal activities get in touch with their local police departments, in order to report their cases. This is particularly important because TeamViewer is subject to very strict data protection and privacy regulations, and can release sensitive data only to authorized individuals and authorities.

Also, we strongly recommend that affected victims contact their bank, a consumer protection organization, and a trustworthy IT support company. In most cases, the payments that have been made can be refunded by the bank, and any malicious software installed by the callers can be removed by the IT support company.

Finally, you can also report the scam by clicking on the following link 👉 https://www.teamviewer.com/en/report-a-scam/

@QtrPt if there are still any open questions or there is anything else we can help you with, don't hesitate to contact us again!

    Stay safe,
